A very brief explanation of Reiki/energy healing

Pharmaceuticals and what is referred to as "modern medicine" has been around for about the last one hundred years.   Healing the mind, body and spirit using energy has been used by humans in all walks of life, from all over the globe, for tens of thousands of years!  Every race, every tribe, every religion for thousands of years have relied upon the knowledge and experience of their healers.  Given a variety of names such as medicine-man, witch doctor, shaman, monk etc, what ever the name they all had the same things in common.  They all used the power of universal energy combined with controlled intent to spread calm and healing.  Even though these civilizations evolved thousands of miles apart over thousands of years with no way way of ever meeting their basic principles of healing using energy are the same.  Coincidence????

In the early twentieth century, a highly regarded Japanese business man and samurai called Usui made it his life's work to study as many different forms of holistic healing methods as he could, from all over the world and try to simplify the basics into a easier to teach form of healing.   This final result is now called "Reiki".  Translated into English it means "Rei" - divine or universal and "Ki" - Energy.  This same form of healing and teaching is still handed down from Master to student today.  Each time the knowledge is passed on it also comes with the added benefits of all the experiences of all the Masters that came before and as a Master Teacher I also pass on my own experiences too.

Does it work?  Absolutely!!  If you don't believe me just look for yourself.  Get comfortable in front of your computer and start looking into the all the scientific tests and experiments done by high standing organizations and universities on energy healing in the last fifty years alone.  Be prepared though it could take you a while, there is a lot.  I would suggest looking at award winning Dr Bruce  Lipton PhD for starters. 

Don't misunderstand me, if you break an arm get yourself to hospital quick!  I am simply advising you that every therapy has it's place and there are many other more natural and often less invasive treatments to be sought out than popping pills without asking questions!

So if all this energy healing stuff is so good, why don't we see it used in hospitals and doctors surgeries????  There is a very simple answer to this and unfortunately it is this.  They can't make any money from it!  There are no drugs to sell you, no expensive machines to rent to you, no highly paid experts to see you.  It's just energy that is already flowing through and around you that sometimes gets a little blocked or misaligned and just needs someone like me to help nudge it back in the right direction.  For this reason holistic therapies have been demonised by science and pharmaceutical companies for generations.  Only in the last 10 years or so have the tables started to turn again due to new understanding of quantum physics and high profile doctor's and scientists finally admitting and testing energy healing and revealing that it actually works fantastically well by treating the essence of the person rather than just the physical body with chemicals that often produce unwanted side effects.
